They were star-crossed dreamers,

who thought they could make it so;

They believed that love would conquer all,

and that their love would grow;

But the power of dissenting families

is greater than the lovers could know

and in the end there was no hope

for Juliet….and her Romeo.

We’re left to wonder if the parents

regretted their course and cried

when the star-crossed dreamers slept

forever, together, in suicide.
