This is the day we remember The Harvest,
when thousands of souls were called home,
Lives snuffed in an instant, lives forever changed,
buried in ashes and stone.
This is the day we remember The Harvest,
And the heroes who worked in the fields,
Dauntless they risked their lives to save others,
In doing, their fates would be sealed.
Some would insist that we should forget,
The thousands who died–but I say,
Let us always remember the harvest of souls
reaped in Heaven that September day.
