IN MY SOLITUDE

In my solitude

I think of you

and all that might have been;

In my solitude

I remember us

and all we might have done

as a Pair, as One.

I have regrets

for what might have been,

For all you were to me;

It saddens me to think —

that We will have to live again

In order to discover what

Together

Might have been.
